Our Journey of Innovation, Resilience & Growth

Founded on 26th May 1987 by Mr. Ravi Prakash Jain and Mrs. Manju Jain, Softline began as a modest venture trading in computer printer ribbons and accessories. Through dedication, quality, and a growing network of government and corporate clients such as Engineers India Limited, Oil India Limited, and Jain Studios, the company soon became a trusted name in the industry.
By the early 1990s, Softline had expanded its footprint with a manufacturing facility in Shahjahanpur, Rajasthan, and offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The company became a front-runner in printer ribbons and consumables, also venturing into inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges, and printer parts imported from Germany, England, and the USA.
However, the sudden demise of founder Mr. Ravi Prakash Jain in 1996 marked a turning point. The loss was profound — both personally and professionally. Despite the challenges and the limited acceptance of women entrepreneurs at the time, Mrs. Manju Jain chose perseverance over closure. With the support of her young children, Nidhi and Sushant, she steered the company through one of its toughest periods.
The trio restructured Softline’s operations, moving into computer peripherals, supplies, and maintenance (AMC) — steadily rebuilding trust and partnerships with prestigious clients including IIFT, JSL, and Shree Cement.

As innovation remained the company’s core philosophy, Nidhi Jain diversified into corporate awards and gifts in the year 2000, laying the foundation of what is now Pinnacle Rewards & Recognition Pvt. Ltd. — a leading name serving clients like Bosch, Infosys, Canon, DHL, and KPMG, with an annual business exceeding ₹16 crores.
In 2005, Sushant Jain ventured into laser cutting and engraving, initially as an ancillary service for Pinnacle. This soon evolved into a full-fledged industrial operation under Laser Cutting Studio, now serving diverse industries with advanced laser and CNC machining capabilities.

By 2010, as the traditional computer supplies market declined, Softline gracefully exited that sector, focusing entirely on its new-age businesses. The operations moved to Gurugram, Haryana in 2012, marking a new chapter of growth and modernization.
In 2021, Sushant launched Satvik Packaging, a design-led manufacturing company specializing in rigid box making. Continuing the legacy of innovation, Satvik introduced an automation platform in 2024, revolutionizing how custom design files are generated for the packaging industry.

Today, Softline stands as a diverse technology group, bringing together excellence in design, automation, manufacturing, and digital fabrication. With verticals spanning laser cutting, CNC machining, 3D printing, automation, and packaging, we continue to evolve — carrying forward the founding vision of building a stronger, smarter, and more innovative India.
